Bourn To Run 2024

Bourn To Run is back in the South Cambridgeshire village of Bourn on Sunday 15 September 2024, proudly supported and hosted by Star Radio.

Hundreds of runners will be taking part in the multi-terrain 10km race, which has a new reversed route this year, a family-friendly 3km race, and the Toddler Dash.

The event will also include many activities on the Jubilee recreation ground in Bourn for race participants and their family and friends, including a yoga and physio tent, beat the goalie, craft sessions, face painting, raffle and a BBQ.

Here are the all important timings for the day:

8:30am - Recreational Ground and Manor Farm car parking opens

9:55am - Manor Farm car park closes

10:05am - Toddler Dash

10:10am - Warm-up

10:30am - 10K Race

10:35am - 3K Family Fun Run

11:40am - Presentation of prizes

11:45am - Raffle draw

12:00pm - Manor Farm car park reopens

Set up in 2007, by two mothers who wanted to save the primary school’s swimming pool after it was threatened with closure, Bourn To Run is still going strong, with an ambition of leaving behind a health and wellbeing legacy to inspire all its young pupils.

Now in it's 17th year, organisers are hoping this will be the one when they smash their £100,000 fundraising target.

Funds raised so far from the event have supported Bourn Primary Academy, the village Church and Sports Club, with last year’s total of £10,000 going towards a new wooden trim trail course for the school field and class trips.
