Four fire crews have been called in to deal with a major blaze in Milton.
Reports of a fire at Milton landfill site, off Butt Lane, were first reported at around 5pm on Tuesday 18 June 2024.
20 firefighters from Cambridge, Cottenham, Ely and Huntingdon attended and smoke was seen in the skies from several miles away, with drivers told to take care and local residents urged to stay indoors.
Investigations have confirmed the cause of the fire was accidental.
