The Campaign For Real Ale has named the best pubs in and around Cambridge for 2024.
On Thursday 13 June 2024, publicans, brewers and cider makers attended the Cambridge & District CAMRA’s 2024 Gala Night at the Portland Arms in Cambridge.
Champion of the Thames, off Christ's Pieces, was named Cambridgeshire Pub of the Year and Cambridge & District Pub of the Year.
The Three Horseshoes in Stapleford was awarded Rural Pub of the Year, while The Devonshire Arms, off Mill Road, picked up the Cider Pub of the Year accolade.
Alistair Cook, Pubs Officer:
"Pubs play a key role in our communities so it is great to see pubs with a community feel picking up these awards.
"It is also important that we show our appreciation for the people who have done so much over many years to offer us great places to go and beers to drink."
