Cambridge United have signed goalkeeper Nathan Bishop on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old came through the Southend United Academy, before signing for Manchester United on a two-and-a-half year deal in January 2020.
He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Mansfield, where he kept goal as their number one as they reached the League Two Play-Off final.
Following the end of his contract at Manchester United, he signed for Sunderland in August 2023, and joined Wycombe on loan during the summer 2024.
Cambridge United head coach Garry Monk:
"We are really pleased to welcome Nathan into the club.
"He has excellent pedigree, is hungry to do well and has an infectious character to add to the dressing room.
"He will be a great addition to the team and I look forward to working with him over the coming months."
