A drug dealer has been locked up after being caught with weapons.
Officers tried to stop 21-year-old Jermaine Rowe on 19 September after spotting him riding an electric pedal scooter in a balaclava.
He made off before discarding the scooter and attempting to run away.
After a short scuffle, Police arrested Rowe in Argyle Street and found a zombie knife in his waistband.
He was further arrested when officers found a firearm and ammunition in his bag as well as two bundles of class A drugs and £2,307 in cash.
Rowe has been sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of ammunition without a certificate. He also plead guilty to possession of a knife, possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs at an earlier hearing.

"The length of the sentence given to Rowe reflects the severity of these crime and potentially deadly effects these weapons can have. We are pleased that in this case, those dangerous weapons and ammunition are off the streets, preventing the devastation they can cause.
"We are committed to removing guns, knives and all dangerous weapons from our streets and putting the people who carry them before the courts.
"We also carry out regular stop searches, warrants and weapon sweeps and ensure those who store, carry and use them are brought to justice.
