The number of people on hospital waiting lists in Cambridge is continuing to grow.
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said the latest figures showed there were 64,777 people waiting for an appointment, after an increase of 660 in July 2024.
Papers published by the Trust and presented to its board of directors in September 2024, said this was over 3,400 more than the Trust had planned for.
The report highlighted that increasing hospital waiting lists was a wider issue, stating that the total national waiting list increased in June to 7.62million.
