Trio Of New Shops To Transform Grand Arcade

Three new stores are heading for the Cambridge shopping centre.

Managers at Grand Arcade have revealed that JD Sport, Beaverbrook and a TAG Heuer boutique will open by the end of 2022.

JD Sport will move from Lion's Yard to a larger store in neighbouring Grand Arcade, occupying a 14,200 square foot site on the ground floor and basement which will open to shoppers in time for Christmas.

Upmarket jewellers Beaverbrook are set to open its first outlet in Cambridge, a 2,500 square foot shop along with an adjoining TAG Heuer boutique.

Menswear retailer Charles Tyrwhitt, is relocating a bigger 1,250 square foot unit amid the changes.

Grand Arcade's General Manager Martin Macwhinnie tells Star Radio the centre will thrive over the next 12 months, despite challenging economic conditions.
