A temporary health centre is planned to meet "urgent unmet need for health care" at Alconbury Weald.
The main developer at the Alconbury Weald development, Urban and Civic, said it wants to create a temporary health centre to bridge the gap in demand before a permanent facility is built.
Around 6,500 new homes are due to be built on the former airfield, with the construction well underway and many people now living there.
The new health facility is proposed to be created in the vacant office space above the Co-op in The Boulevard.
