Plans for over 130 news homes on the edge of Somersham have been signed off.
Huntingdonshire District Council gave the green light for Aliison Homes to develop fields north of Chatteris Road.
Over half of the new homes are planned to be sold as private market housing, with 53 made available as affordable housing, including 37 social rented properties and 15 shared ownership houses.
In a report published by the authority officers said the new development would offer a "good quality residential environment".
