Fields in Freckenham will be turned into a dog training and exercise park.
The application was for an agricultural field off Fordham Road, just outside the village.
On Wednesday 7 February, the plans were unanimously approved, despite being recommended for refusal, on the basis that the new 1.8m high grey fencing would destroy the landscape.
However, councillors agreed the benefits outweighed any impacts, and said the park would not only improve the health of dogs, but also their owners.
