Investigations open following St Neots robberies

Police say the incidents are "concerning"

A delivery driver has been targeted by two men over the weekend.

The first robbery happened at about 5.30pm on Friday 17 November 2023 in Duck Lane.

A delivery driver in his 30s was approached by two men from behind.

They threatened him and took the keys to his vehicle.

They left in the vehicle with his remaining parcels.

The second happened at about 4.30pm on Saturday in Huntingdon Street, when a teenage boy and his friend were approached by two young men.

They pushed the victim into a fence and demanded he hand over cash before running off.

They are both described as white, approximately 5’11 with one wearing a grey hoodie and the other a blue balaclava.

Detective Constable Ewa Byrne from Cambridgeshire Police.

"These incidents are really concerning and understandably left the victims fearing for their safety and quite shaken.

"I’d like to hear from anyone who was in either area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious, to come forward.

"While we don’t believe them to be linked at this time, we are keeping an open mind."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting reference 35/85860/23 and 35/86067/23.
