Appeal After Spate Of Vandalism In Cambridge

Reports were received at about 5.30pm on Friday that a car window had been smashed with a brick and parts pulled off in Church Street, Chesterton.

Windows of two homes in the same street had been damaged as well.

The windows on the entrance doors of St Andrew’s Church had also been smashed along with a glass-sliding door at Chesterton Recreation Ground Pavilion.  

PC Calum Searle said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the Church Street area at about 5pm on Friday.

“If anyone saw anything or has CCTV or dashcam footage, then I would urge them to contact the police.”
