Cambridge United have announced their first pre-season friendlies, with newly promoted Ipswich Town one of two visitors confirmed.
The Tractor Boys, who finished second in League One last season, visit the Abbey Stadium on Saturday 22nd July at Midday, and tickets are now on sale.
Despite their differing fortunes in the league, the U's fared well against Ipswich last season - beating them 1-0 in the FA trophy and holding them to a 1-1 draw in February.
The final friendly of the summer will see the U's head to Barnet at 3pm on Saturday 29th July, one week before the Sky Bet League One season gets underway on Saturday 5th August.
Details of further pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course, in addition to ticket information for the Barnet game.
Cambridge United's team will look a lot different for the games, as no fewer than 10 first team players have now left the club.
