The fastest male to pass the finish line was Nick Bowker of Clapham Chasers, who took just 1 hour, 5 minutes and 11 seconds to complete the route, beating last year's fastest time by more than a minute,.

The quickest female was Verity Hopkins of Tonbridge Athletics Club, who finished with a chip time of 1 hour, 13 minutes and 49 seconds.

The year's Half Marathon was the largest in the event's 12-year history.
